Good, so am I but this seems a good possibility of a wind up, this forum has had its fair share of 'wind up members'

This person clearly is looking to start an argument; he has no basis for what he is saying. Bitter has already stated it’s not a fake yet this person sees fit to rant on and even threaten Bitter with punishment!

Well I’m not sure about that, hasn’t john1964 done far worse to Bitter? I wasn’t aware that john1964 had any kind of ‘rep’ on TSF

Oh but I had reason, accusing a trusted retailer of selling fakes is reason enough.

Again I have to flip your statement... slating Bitter for no apparent reason is pathetic and childish…

Maybe a moderator should close this thread before it gets out of hand.

P.S - The first cue example is a real O'Min cue.

P.P.S - The link above for the cue had ended bidding.

          bongo.

So because a cue goes cheap on ebay it must be a fake?

While on the topic of Ebay, I would like to add that I never like to buy on it. Really, the only way to be completly sure that the items on Ebay that you buy in connection with the game is real and not fake and that the seller is proper is to buy from an Ebay shop run by a legitimate company or well known expert (Welsh Pool Trading). Or buy from the manufatcurers if they have a shop on there. Buying from anybody is a risk, it may look real but how do you know? They may look professional but how do you know if they are professional and legitimate? You could also buy from somebody that you know, but if you know them then I am sure you would actually buy it from them instead of using the internet.

I prefer to buy of the internet than in shops but I prefer to use companies websites and not the Ebay. It is not my favourite website.

              bongo. (chris)

I didn't really want to get invloved with this thread but feel i have to answer before this runs on and on.

The O'min Professional cue mentioned above is 100% genuine with the o'min logo engraved on the joint ( which if it was a fake would be to much trouble to go to really and soon rumbled by the maker themselves )

The o'min professional cue unlike the others in the o'min range has a rosewood butt not an ebony butt which again brings the cost of the cue down in both making it & the retail price, although that said i agree with one thing it was a great price considering the quality.

the o'min in the post is real. that is for sure.

as for prices on ebay, the seller does not choose what price an auction finishes at. i sold an o'min recently brand new for £67... - people were too stupid to bid on it! thats not my fault...

                    the badge looks dodgy though

the cue above looks ok, but the badge looks dodgy though, not sure really, you'd better check with o min before placing your bid on ebay.

                      John

You have too much time on your hands, if you feel the need to go thru my ebay auction for the last 6 years looking for fakes.

                      I take you don't have a girlfriend

The cues are 100% genuine, the badges are not made for asia or europe they are simply O Min designs, some are white, some silver and others gold, they come in round and square shape and the price listed was great, and the source would have been O Mins trade supplier, wish I would have seen them at that price, finally the lowest form of criticism is an anonymous and cowardly sniping at someones reputation, most likely you sell fake cues yourself, if you accuse others of fraudulent trading, which is what you are doing, at least have the balls to but your name AND YOUR ebay ID so that the person you thus libel can take appropriate action.

There are Very Few FAKE O'min Cues in the world, The real ones have O'min cues on the joint of the cue.
