How do you get that abextra?
If a ball can never been potted twice in the same pocket, then
Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue and Black can be potted 2x, Pink 4x max
If we suppose each is potted with red - which gives more points than alone - we get to
6 +8 +10 +12 +28 +16 = 80.
Or did I misunderstand something?

Oh, you're right, Monique, you didn't misunderstand anything, I was just too optimistic...
... maybe 71 then?
didn't you have 80 before? I was ready to go for 81 at first thought now
... and we can close R.221-223. I don't know (as usual) what Abextra has, so she or anybody else can put it up on the thread now. Whatever won't appear I can link to tomorrow...
No, I just said that 80 is the maximum theoretically possible if you take into account that a ball cannot be potted twice in same pocket + other constraints. Now I did'nt say that maximum can actually be reached. I have a sequence of pots for 77.
Round 229 - abextra's 67 (or 71?), Monique's 77, snookersfun's 81 - and / or any other bids ... please post them all here explaining where the balls should be positioned and how to get them!
"If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can." David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

argh, thought one could go for crazy plants (like black onto red etc.).
But also, aren't we still with 'However, Barry's positional play is so poor that he can never play two consecutive pots into the same pocket.'?
