PS3 Hustle Kings - Snooker DLC Disappointing?

Now, I appreciate that it cost less than £3, but I thought they'd put a bit more work into this than they actually did. The A.I. has absolutely no idea whatsoever about snooker strategy, it just plays pool an a bigger table. It's idea of a safety shot, is to roll up next to a ball and leave it on for me! At one point, I potted the white, leaving a red right over a pocket, and it put me back in, with an unmissable pot on the red. I've also found that I can't pot a straight ball with full power, because the object ball nearly always jumps out of the pocket.

As yet, I've only played half a dozen games or so, but so far I've been quite disappointed.

Get over to the voofoo forum, and tell them about your findings. They do listen to feedback given by the community.
As for the AI, ive only played online matches with no lines which i think is incredible fun.
The game still needs some tweaking here and there, but with some patches it could be near perfect in the future.

Not being able to pot a ball with full or near full power is REALLY T-ing me off. I was just on 8 reds & blacks, neded a deep screw, put 90% power on, perfectly lined up shot, BAM! red jumps out of pocket. AARRRGGGHHHH!!

The problem you describe was also there when the game just came out.
After some complaints they made the pockets more realistic with a patch.
I have no doubt they will fix this in a future update

I don't think so, but I haven't played it for a while. I'll have a look today to see if there's an update or patch available.

Yes, there was an update, and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Don't you guys find Hustle Kings abit clunky? It seems to take an age to do anything on it. A single break can last 20 minutes because its so so frickin slow.

It just feel chunky. It seems to take an age when you're playing against the computer. And don't even get me started on those fricking loading times.
