  • WSC on Wii glitch?

Anyone else come across this? I am in my first season and have successfully qualified for the Grand Prix. I have played my first match against Jamie Cope and won 5-1. When I check the 'event progress' screen and am bottom on my table with 0 points and Jamie has 2!!!

    This can't be right!

    You won 5-1?

Best of 9 frames? ... How many percent do you set for the Match Length?

Mine is set to 25% ...

    Well, it does not matter.

But, during the game ... did you QUIT or TURNED OFF the Wii ?

If YES, then that could be it !

I got the same thing, however it will be correct again after I won the next match. So, try to win another match ... and see.

By the way, the "automatic save game" does not always work.

    Read my post here: http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...45&postcount=5

Now I am sure this is a bug.

I have reported it to Blade, but I have not got any answer.

Blade reads this forum, I hope they could provide clear explanation.

Here what I do to save game:
    1. For example: The best of 3 frames
    2. I won 1-0, and I want to save the game
    3. When the 2nd frame start, I press+hold the Wii power button, to force shutdown
    4. Next time I start the "Next Match", the score will be the same 1-0 for me
    5. However, if you play Grand Prix, you can get something wrong in the group score. But it will be corrected after the next match.

It's a shame, basic functionality like save game does not always work.

PS: I won the Grand Prix for the first time yesterday I beat Ronny O'Sullivan 4-1. I don't know, usually it is very difficult to beat him, but he made a lot of errors. Probably there is random "mood" for computer opponent

      Hi SnookDude,

you were correct, it has corrected itself. I have my match length set to 100%, I don't recall quitting or shutting the Wii down but after my second match which I also won I re-checked the event progress and I had 4 points.

I have since completed the group stage without any further 'point robbing' problems.

No game is bug-free. If it will be reviewed is not a problem. I hope Blade will take the time to improve.
