  • Funny stuff in Real 09

    Couple of funnies I saw:

Before break off, when the camera pans around the table, my player was at the top of the table as if to break off, but in a *seated* position. Perhaps a new tactic to intimidate the opponent.... ( I let you imagine the rest).

Got my opponent in a snooker, he had to hit the cue ball around the table. It goes around, but into the top pocket. Quite a few people in the crowd then stand up and clap.... tough crowd!

I played an awesome shot, potted a long red and bought the cue ball round the table, back down to be perfectly on the black.

However the crowd groaned like the effect you get when potting the white - not a single applause........ LOL

ha, yeah, I had a few of those! Usually someone in the crowd will cough just to break the silence... :snooker:

i had to play a soft roll up into the 15 reds with the cue ball being very close to the pack and as i played the shot the top half of my cue disappeared in the pack of reds if you get my drift..lol

I was playing a black player and throughout the match he had white hands and the ref had black hands. Weird.

The little crowd cam popped up in the top right to show appreciation to one of my shots, unfortunately it got stuck there for two full frames, the match ended and it turned black, so it was still there as a black screen even in the lounge i had to reset the game to get rid of it.

I got that, made things 'interesting' I also get told I've 'used too much top' every time I've used it lol.

Yeah me too, even if my position is inch perfect, it's strange because occasionally i'll play a match and the commentary and crowd appreciation is spot on, but other times it's all wrong.

I finished an 8 ball game against someone who then did some Jedi tricks which consisted of:

Standing with his arms outstretched and then making his cue levitate in front of him.

                  I was well impressed.. lol

Its best when your guy is walking to the arena and the cue magically floats next to his hand...i was a bit confused though as all the time iv played snooker or pool my cue has never floated outside my hand :|

I'd love one of the players to tell us how they instantly teleport from one part of the table to another! Surely this is groundbreaking news and if researched and developed could lead to people being able to teleport around the world!

I'm stuck in walk mode in the middle of a frame and can't get out of it. Anyone else get this? SO annoying, all I can do is quit the flaming match. I'm beginning to regret buying this game. It shouldn't be out of beta release yet in my opinion. Far too many issues.
                        Cheers

I think it is the part were I was thinking the same. For me I only had to nominate the ball colour
So for me it was no real bug.

That's what it was asking me to do, but when I nominate nothing happened and I was still stuck in walk mode. SO annoying as I was on my biggest break yet as well.

When the referee went to re-spot the black he was facing the other way.
