Need some help on 8 balls(PC version )

I'm playing WSC09 these days, I found it a very good game. I always play 8 balls, because I played it in my real life. But now I have a problem. When I am to break the balls, I should place the cue ball where I like to place it, but I don't know how. When I push the up and down button on the keyboard, my view changed, but the cue ball was not moved at all! Who can help me. Thanks very much!

try and hold down shift or ctrl then move the mouse.......i used to have it for pc but can't remember how to move the ball,anyway try that see what happens.

I stiil can't find out how to move the cue ball. But thank you anyway
