Why dont you take it to a local sign writers or metal work fabrication company and get someone to make you a plate out of a light weight material and you can get whatever you want on the badge. Or they might be able to tell you where you can get one made.

I suppose if i measure the size i need then that might help...I was thinking of making a badge from perspex but dont know what to put between the wood and the perspex.

Hi Jim yes the cue has been spliced with Tulip wood which i find a bit strange cos the butt was already tulip wood...anyway the cue plays superb it is poker straight with the best piece of seasoned 50 or 60 year old ash i have ever seen.

thanks again Jim for your help and thanks for taking the time to post up pics of you 3 similar cues.

Warren132 Based on the posts it sounds like you've got a nice cue there and it would be worth spending some money to get a nice badge made rather than trawling around for something second hand. Mastercraft used to do a "personalised" square badge for around a tenner. Maybe they could do something similar for you.
Look forward to hearing what you've done.

Just a small update on what i have done for a badge...never one to want to spend money if i dont have to..I had a look around work and here is what i have done...

Looks better that not having one on the cue.

hi warren i am sorry you thought the plate was put on by steve wonder but i told you it had been altered (commen practice in w/m clubs)the reason its tulip on tulip is the old steel weight had to be removed from the side as you cannot drill them out!
