        Hi Jellibeen,

Can you tell me if this is a commercially made polisher? Ive seen various bits of info about these. Sam leisure supply them and they're well expensive - £700 or thereabouts I seem to remember... and even though I have loads of pool balls from tables that come in to me, I could never justify spending that amount on a polisher.

Also there some videos on Youtube with guys in the US that have made their own with and Electric Drill, Round Tub and some buffing brushes - all put together for about $50 US....

no this is not a commercial polisher. (well not yet anyway).
This is my take on the polisher, I previously made the tub design, but found many problems with the design.
I have been working on its design for about a year so far, and am about to get to the prototypes v.soon.
I have interest from quite a number of areas, especially as it would never be in the price range as others on the market, and will only be built (initially) to order.
These are going to be fully tested in the field before going to production.
Any advice or thoughts please let me know, all will be greatly appreciated.
Please remember that these are just basic renders on the idea, and that the final designs are far more detailed.

                      ball polisher

half hearted but on a serious note at our club we wash them in the glass washing machine then use the stuff they sell at local this put a decent polish on the balls snooker shops which is supose too give better contact and less kicks

just remember to not have the dishwasher to hot and remove the salt before hand otherwise you will put micro scratches continuously on the surface. Which will defeat the purpose of cleaning them.

                          trying to gauge price.

Can the forum members give me advice as to what they would seriously be prepared to pay for one of these, also if there is the need for one of these.
All advice will be greatly appreciated.
