  • Please HELP...Trying to find name plate engravers?

First of all welcome to all of you,,,,
I've spent the last few days reading through many of the posts here, and not to say it mildly,,, very imprest, not only with the sensible comments made about products, but also on the advice and help given, especially by the makers and repairers out there.

At present I've been playing pool and snooker since I was 7. Now coming upto 30 i'm starting to venture out into the cue and case market myself....
I have an ever expanding business, that I am diversifying into my real love, pool!!!

I have been having trouble in getting things made for me!]
I have hopefully cracked the cues, after many tries, and many disappointments.

But am struggling to get the name plates, with my branding done to high standard.

I have the design in font a vector form but the ones that I have made up arent crisp enough...

does anyone know of a quality producer for this item????

    please help!!!!

at present that is irrelevant, it all depends on the quality of the plate. I'm open to suggestions, also the material could be brass, resin etc.... it doesn't have to be plastic.
I just want it to be quality....
I pride myself on producing and selling quality items....
Hopefully that shows in my web site and ebay page...

        And

        http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...X:NEWLIST#LIST

I take item and allot of effort in the details of all that I do...

        many thanks

I clicked on your website but got Lumineri womens clothing site. You may want to check that out.
Also, you don't say what country you're from(across from your name on the thread).
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

The nameplate on the picture is not engraved, but hot stamped.
Most of the nameplates (i.e. John Parris) are made this way.

It is blank plate of resin, plastic or wood. Then you need an etched or (better) engraved stamping cliche. A hotstamping foil is used to transfer the color from the foil to the plate.

My company is producing machines for this type of printing, you can see this prints almost everywhere around you...

If you are interested have a look to our homepage on www.hotstamping.de for further information.

If you would like to know more or need som advise please let me know.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

I do not need a machine, many thanks though..
I'd be interested in someone that can produce the hot foil types as well though.
                many thanks

My intention was not to sell you a machine.
But maybe we can produce you the nameplates if you send me some details...

so sorry, would it possible to send me some examples of work that would be in the same vein as what I am looking for. i.e. snooker name plates.
I've seen the one that ADR147 has is that a hotfoil type of plaque?
if you would like to send me photos, you can to Jellibeen69@hotmail.com

I haven't seen Andrews namplates from near but what I can see from the pictures they seem to be hotstamped.
I will ask the sales department for some samples and I send you pictures of them.
All the golden and silver decorations on cosmetics packaging are done with hotstamping, for example.
Also the golden printing on your passport and a lot of decoration in your car...
