Yeah, the same old excuse, "they are just splicing your cue", has been used on two of my friends who ordered 3 JP cues. 2 were limited editions and the other an exclusive. And yes, the lady told them so. lol
Their wait was just over 6 months.
I should also say, only one of the cues looked like a first class cue; finish wise and choice of woods. The other two, well, I have seen better finished cues and with better choices of wood, shaft and veneers.

Is it correct to look at the JP cue making operation like this?...it is a business and apart from John's name being on the cue, is it stated anywhere that HE actually makes the cues?
I mean, if we liken it to Toyota... a man's name, but we know that Mr Toyota (Toyoda) didn't make the cars..single handedly, why is it that we assume JP should do anything different?

If a product has a badge with my name on it and my name stands for outstanding good cues I take care that not one cue is leaving my company that is not fulfilling my personal quality level.
I my company makes too much products and I am not able to check them personally I will take care that there are people granting the level of quality my name stands for.

I could not accept that 1 of four cues is on this level and three are not.
This will damage my reputation and name.

No matter which person has actually made the cue, it is my name on it.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

I couldn't agree more, Christian. That's what should be done.

To be honest, since I've been on Morphine I've had trouble concentrating and it's taken me 4 to 5 times longer than usual to type as i keep on falling asleep. I'm bloody knackered all the time and the day before yesterday I was in bed at 9pm! Unheard of.
