But... the delivery cost to Malaysia are high !!!

Breden, have you ever ask how much is the cost for them to send a cue to Malaysia ?
I did check with JP, delivery cost £65..(enough to buy a brand new Omin here in KL)

That the reason I'm still struggling whether to order from UK... too far !!!
Mastercraft delivery to Malaysia: around GBP50++ (enough to get you Omin's aluminium cue case)

My advise: Look for Unclevit in TSF here. You can get your custom cue from UT through him. UT is the guru of many Omin's cuemaker. The price almost the same with Omin but the quality would be better then Omin. So find Unclevit.

Why should go for UK's cuemaker if you can get the same price and quality from our neighbour, Thailand? Ask yourself about that. I have already made my order with UT. Then I'll move on with other cue's project from UK's cuemakers. It is just a matter of money and time.
    My cueing sucks

I know this sounds silly but you may want to use a house cue and save up to buy a better cue later. For this budget, the cue you get will not be that good. You can find a house cue that you like, and just keep it in your locker in your club.
When you get better you will understand your own perference better, and save wasting money on a cheap cue that you will try to sell later for next to nothing.

Ask Unclevitwith respect to Thai cues

Know he has been posting some really good specials and I am sure he can source you an Omin for that price range if you don't mind a good machine spliced one

LufC2 Have a look in e-bay. ADR147 has just listed a pile of Cue Craft cues which may be in your budget. This seller knows his stuff and wouldn't sell you a bad cue. Maybe you could make him an offer and cut out the bidding stuff. Worth a try.

I would look second hand if had £50.
Maybe something like a Joe Davis 147.

Those Craftsman would be fine. I think the machine made Craftsman cues are Thai made and finished in Leeds.

Def don't touch a new Riley or anything like that. An old Riley burwat might be all right though.
Craftsman have second hand cues as well as their own; if you could visit.

If I was in Malaysia I would look Thai first I think.

Thanks alot everyone for your help and advice. Very friendly place this. Ive found adr147s ebay site so ll keep an eye on how the cue crafts go and have a look at a bid if they stay in my range.
I understand the more you pay the better you get, but im no more than a recreational player and spending three figures is a bit much at the moment. Hopefully a cheapish one will get me through untili improve enough to warrant a more expensive cue to take me further forward.
                  Thanks again everyone.

                    That's fair enough.
I will say though that I always regretted buying a £75 cue when I changed it after about three years.
Maybe ask ADR147 to keep an eye out for you.

Try UT cue from Thai before you think of Mastercraft? You might save loads of RM for the same quality of cuemaker.

Me and brendan147 will trying UT cues Next year. Will give comment for UT cues later after received and pot for few frames with brendan147. I cannot recommend any thing coz my 1st cue 3/4 CM1 master 147 just crack after an hour play. We try CM1 smart and city boy...to be true i like CM1 city boy than CM1 smart because CM1 smart is varnish and is sticky. If you want cheap go for Thailand cue.
