To me, the only snooker stuff eBay has been good for is chalk that isn't sold locally.

Yes eBay is very Hit and Miss......Some Items which are worth Good Money get Peanuts and Items Worth Peanuts get Good Money!...Thats the Way it is.

eBay has gone Down Hill big style recently, Maybe the Fees etc that people are getting fed up with and using Amazon etc as they Only Charge Fees when item sells!

Too be honest eBay is a Great Place for getting some Bargains Lately but you have to Find them!!

          Gaz.

i have picked up some real gems on ebay lately, i cant knock the site.
i have bought tip shapers, tip piks, flexi-rests everything lately, a few gadgets that i just couldnt find in some other places or locally
my only problem is when ppl overvalue stuff, despite it being constantly relisted.
i dont mean ppl like fedia, because if there are idiots out there paying £1100 for a £600 cue, then all the best to him for finding them and taking the chance with his money, ill keep my trousers up tho thanks...

              Here are a few classics..

              http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/snooker-cue_W0...item20b0435d35

So that's a peradon edwardian weighing 17 1/2 'aunts' and worth £50 new and 'that's why I sale it for £160'

              And how about this.-

              http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-4-Stuart-Tay...item2306470ce0

Errm don't want to nitpick but I think it says 'Steve Taylor' on the badge mate He says 'any questions please ask' I'm tempted to ask him if he's actually read the badge on the cue

              And lastly this perler..

              http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100ml-Ash-Mapl...item563b23f2b9

Maybe it would have been better to leave the pic small, cause it's easy to see by looking at the bottle, 'Made from: Olive oil' . and 'not for eat'
So this so called 'professional cue oil' is actually olive oil available from virtually any food shop at a 3rd of the price. Why the hell would anyone want to order some from honk kong ? not that I'd risk using it on its own on my cue anyway. Maybe it is a blend of other oils who knows but one would have to be a complete idiot to buy that after looking at the bottle lol, what next?
its almost as funny as those MA cues with stories of how this mysterious cuemaker loving adventure nonsense. That had to be the biggest load of waffle I've ever read

On the subject of oil, bought some of that coutts stuff and used it the other day, it's done a nice job but very difficult to tell it apart from straight linseed, smell, thickness everything seems the same, I might well be wrong there may be a few other kinds in there. Has anyone used the wooldridge stuff ?

I've used it to refinish a few cues, I'll try and find a before and after pic.. have never used plain linseed oil tho so couldn't say if its the same.

Only other 'specialist' cue oil I've used is the mastercue oil and I thought it was just linseed. Not suggesting I can tell for sure I daresay there might be something else in these bottles but not convinced tbh
