Yeah, I just tried it. It's absolutely brilliant really nice website design. A lot to take in at first look. I will be spending plenty of time playing on this

Can't see how you can choose the length of butt on the cue builder.

No that selects where you want the joint not how long the butt is.

                      Part 7 is your specs.

Still Part 7 only lets you specify butt width not length.

It's actually once you do part 6, there is a dimensions button on the bottom right hand side that flashes. When you click on that it renders a picture of your cue and you then get the option to change the following:

                          - Length
                          - Weight
                          - Butt Diameter
                          etc.

Yes Butt Diameter, is the width at the end of the butt 27mm to 32mm, not to specify the length of the butt say 17"

Oh right, sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant the overall length of the cue.

Yes your right, that particular dimension isn't included. You would have to email that or include in the comments field if there is one. Balance point, taper, stiffness of shaft, number of arrows on an ash cue etc. aren't included either. I guess you couldn't include everything that could be specified or most punters wouldn't be able to fill it in.

You have to remember that some people haven't a clue when it comes to specifying certain aspects such as length of butt or tapers or balance points. Really you should put your faith in the cue maker too as some think they know what they want but a lot of the time the spec they ask for doesn't always make for a good playing cue. Not to say you shouldn't have the option but maybe its something better left off for the majority of people as its one area that if you get it wrong could mean a waste of £800 odd!
