  • My Unclevit Cue Review (at last)

Been wanting to post this for ages, but my camera broke then i needed to get a memory card and had to wait for that to come off ebay....got there in the end.

Pics first as i know thats the most important bit!

Hopefully the pictures say it all, but its a beauty. Ordering from Kwan was so easy, to be hoest i was a bit wary of buying something of this value in this manner but i had nothing to worry about. Perfect from start to finish.

Packaging was a solid plastic tube, the cue its self was bubble wrapped and tapped at both ends. Nice and secure.

Playing wise its great, its much lighter (old cue 20oz this one just shy of 17oz) than my old cue which i thought might take some getting used to, but i must say im playing much better now than with my old one already. It looks a damn lot better too!

The splice points are all perfectly even and the butt splicing is brilliant (imo). Butt joint too which im hoping mastercraft extentions will fit (mini spiroloc?).

If anyone has any doubts over these cues, dont. They are great value for money. This cue was £150 delivered. Absolute bargain if you ask me.

This was one from Unclevit collection he made for himself so i could see the shaft prior to ordering. Really nice arrows and blank belly as they call it. Just no lines at all on the underside which i really like. Should have taken a close up pic. Sometimes i find cueing with the arrows underneath focus's my eye more if im not playing well or not happy with my action. Go back to the normal side before too long but i really like having the option.

Kwan puts up cues quite often so i think i best just not look in future!

Looks great, if it plays as good as it looks then you will be on fire :snooker:

              Looks a beaut!!

I just love the unique pattern of the grain of the Masaccar ebony. Such a shame (for me) that it wasn't the right spec as I would have loved a cue with that unique butt

Hope it gives you years of enjoyment

Deepscrew Thanks for your review and the photos. Nice cue. I have a C-brand as well and I have to say its the best cue I've ever had. It's really interesting that you don't see anyone trying to "sell on" an Unclevit cue. Everyone seems well pleased with what they've got. Do you know what the significance of the green badge is? Mines is red.

cheers mate. I think the first 50 cues made under the c brand got red badges, the next 50 green, then another colour for the next 50...pretty sure thats all it is.

Hi Deepscrew, stunning looking cue and I bet the balancing is spot on, and that's why you've adjusted to the lighter weight so easily.
Like Bigmeek I've got a C brand cue with the red badge and well pleased. Good luck with it pal....

I had a much cheaper C brand model but still, the quality came through in the taper, balance and hit of the cue. It's really cool to see how this brand is developing.

if that is what you get for 150 does he make them out of gold if you give him 500 I wonder?

Looks good but what does it play like?
