    I'd just always used the logo to get a rough date, so anything with the E J Riley logo I assumed was pre 1967 when they took over Burwat. Got a feeling I might of overpaid?

    yep, for a short period after Riley Burwat and before Rileys they do appear to me to go back to EJ Riley, mid70s to early 80s.

    as you have probably seen before, on the Gordon Radford (The Cue Collector) website, etc, the letter stamp probably does not indicate any particular year.
    Thought E J Riley was before Riley Burwat, did they go back to that when they dropped the Burwat and went back to just being Riley?

    Here it is......The Kingsley Kennersley Match Cue....not sure how old it is tbh....58" maple shaft, ebony machine spliced, stamped 16.5oz, 11mm tip.....nice and stiff, plays well.

    my best find was not a cue but a old guitar amp vox ac30 head unit normally the vox amp is a Combo but this was just the head it done well on ebay i think i got about 850 for it as for cues i brought about 40 cues of one bloke for£50 most for them were old and ive still got most of them now
