And maybe we should start a new thread on 'Black Country dialect - guess the word', so say, for eg, you give the english word hello, and someone replies with say Ow do, or Oya, or you give the dialect word, say Aer Bin Ya, and then someone can reply with Are you alright? [And even if we don't all know, it's fun just to guess, I think ..........]

Only mention this as there are already some great puzzles and word games on here from the guys, and really enjoy having a go answering them, and not that good from me , but it's great fun all the same......

And I'll post again once I've learnt something else to say.....[currently learning one sentence per half a day....hehehe...]

Povey I'd not heard of but having googled his name found he was a boxer from Heath Town (part of Wolvo).

John Nicholls I'd never heard of but that aint suprising, he played for the **** down the road that wear blue and white stripes. ( Actually me mum knew him, fancied himself as gods gift to women according to her, he'd always be seen with a wench or two in tow and knocked around with Ronnie Allen she says.)

That may be so but it ay as bad as in West Brom, by the time you get back to it some buggers nicked the bricks.
