    Hunt & O'Byrne

Picked this up yesterday after a 200 mile round trip, but I think it was worth it. This is the one that was listed on eBay in the past week, it didn't sell but the seller surprisingly accepted my offer. I was presently surprised when I picked it up, it was in far better condition than it looked in the pictures. Barring a new ferrule and a slight refinish it's perfect. Also a few had commented on other thread about the ebony not being great quality. Now that I have the cue in my hands I'm pretty sure that the ebony is streaky ebony rather than poor quality gaboon.

It also came with an aluminium case which I think is the original one from the 80's

    Spec ended up being:
    10mm ferrule
    29.5mm butt
    58" long
    18"bp
    17.3 oz

Yes it's a cocobola front splice, the cue plays totally fine, but i think it's too light for me and the round butt drove me crazy !! constantly had to look at the butt to find the badge position, or keep spinning the cue around until i found the chevrons !!!

The cue didn't come with a badge mate, i had Tony Glover make me one and he copied the badge from the extensions
