What do you think about the cue Semih_Sayginer ?
I'm very interested in what you think. The more feed back the better and don't worry if you have something to say that isn't flattering, I do understand opinions are down to personal tastes, I can take constructive criticism !! lol

Nah I doubt they are Chinese, probably from Thailand where the factory workers making them get to sleep on the factory floor at the end of each 18 hour shift without paying their foreman rent out of their £20 a week wage as the Chinese counterpart worker has to. The Chinese could have knocked them out for £40 each but Green Baize went for the £35 Thia option.

                      Pretty cues, rip off prices.

to me, it looks very good. a bit over elaborate, but its what it can do on a table that counts, so no matter if it was plain of 'fancy looking' doesnt bother me much.

by its description and looks it seems its a very good cue, both in looks and in craftmanship, but then im far from an expert. thats what i take from the ad.

(some ads can be worded excellently and with good pics make it appear brilliant, so that may not be an indication)

the tip doesnt look as if it will last much play though.

                        bol with it

                            Very Wity wity !!
I wish they cost £35, I can assure you they have cost me a far much more than that, as for rip off prices ?
They are priced to reflect the quality and the craftsmanship of the cue, because they have been made in Thailand means that you are indeed getting a cue for far less than you would pay for a UK cue maker to produce the same quality and design.

( I appreciate that many players only want UK made cues )

wity if you would like to come to the shop and see them you're more than welcome, if you still have that opinion I'd be more than surprised .

Thanks Semih_Sayginer your right they are very elaborate in design, tried to give something different to what's freely available.

The tip is a display tip nothing fancy, it doesn't look like it's going to last till next week !!
I always put new tips on a cue for customers, they can choose which tip they like and how it's shaped .

                              youre welcome GB

i suspected as much WRT the tip, but seeing as you wanted thoughts no matter good or bad then i thought id point this out. id have put a good tip on with nicely burnished sides to finish off the top end of the cue before taking pictures.

if it was requested to be changed by buyer then it wouldnt take more than 15 minutes or so to do so again.

cue itself looks good, as said

These are Louis's cues from Thailand

"These are Louis's cues from Thailand - pretty sure these cues have been around for a while - looks like they supply Mike Wooldridge too. I read about this at another forum ages ago".
