I suppose this was the Ronnie V Mark Allen match that happened, if so what frame was it, I am sure it will be put on You tube and mentioned in BBC commentary and discussed in the Studio as well in the afternoon programmer and also shown during the afternoon programme.

        • This evening, even though there are two tables, one would be vacant as MJW won with a session to spare. I suppose that is quite a rare feat.

If you want an explicit number, it’s the 49th time that happened.

Why oh why are pro sportsmen on social media when they receive this kind of abuse through it ?.
Saying that Selt should know better than to respond to it .

                    • Mark Williams beats Jackson Page 13-3 with a session to spare, I felt a bit sorry for Jackson after beating Barry Hawkins 10-7 in his debut match at The Crucible. Here is a snooker teaser for you all, who is the only player to win two consecutive matches at the Crucible with a session to spare who were his opponents and what was the year?

                      • I think Jackson lost his snooker-mojo when he trimmed his beard
As said, shame for him but he will be back I am sure, all the stronger from the experience.
                        Up the TSF! :snooker:

Davis in 1989 surely. Don’t remember the opponents though.

I don’t feel for Page, he is only 20 and fared better at the WC than someone could expect.

He already changed his cue several times this season. Might be content with the new one, as he leads Zhao 8:4.

You are right in the last 16 he beat Steve Duggan (whatever happened to him) 13-3 and Mike Hallett in the quarter-finals 13-3, he also came very close to it the previous year in 1988 beating Mike Hallet 13-1 in the last 16 and Debuant Tony Drago 13-4 in the quarter-finals.
