I find all the top 16 tournaments a bit flat to be honest, never really understand or agree that the pro tour should be reduced in number either (Carter the latest I've heard saying the number of pros should be cut)

I’m hoping Mark Allen loses tonight ,I’m not a fan of his new style of playing slow and deliberate,it’s just not the way he plays ,it’ll probably bite him in the ass at some point .
Over the last year I've gotten into watching snooker again and find Yates to be an insufferable commentator. Thankfully he only seems to do it for tournaments on ITV.
After a week of Darren Morgan who is as boring a commentator as he was a snooker player, I must admit I switched it off last night, was falling asleep on the sofa at around 8 o'clock.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Well we got our wish, my hope is that he decided to try this style out for a while and will ditch it now it's not working! I don't think it suits him personally as he's a quick thinker and instinctive break maker.
Can we all agree now that the "unbeatable Allen" bubble has been well and truly popped?....AGAIN! Great performance from Joe though ,really enjoyed it.

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
Respect to Allan for reinventing himself, admirable.
This may be the end of the honeymoon but thereβs nothing stopping him from mixing it up a bit, experimenting with the recipe..
I find the hate Mark Allen is getting pretty hilarious... up to the point where you wish a player to lose because you don't "like his style". Bonkers.
Again... Mark's not there to please your eye or entertain you, winning is his job. He's been by far the most successful player on the tour over the last year due to the adjustments he made.
And he keeps tinkering, he accepts that some things don't work while others do and he draws the right conclusions. That's exactly what you gotta do if your goal is to be succesful.

Well we are viewers mate and without those the player has nothing in the pot to win.

You're mistaken if you think you were "we, the viewers", mate. You are just one dude and you can only speak for yourself.
And the tour's pot won't change a bit if you stop viewing because somebody's style of play annoys you, because 99% of "we, the viewers" won't stop viewing...
