BTW if Carter wins today, I think he completely deserves it, he's overcome many things and changed his attitude towards luck, bad rub etc etc.

If there was someone out there who was good enough cost wouldn’t be a problem. The Chinese have had a bash at producing a World Champ and haven’t managed it so far. John Higgins, Selby etc have never had a problem getting backers and they’re not going to eclipse Ronnie. He’s a once in a couple of generations.

Selby had a smooth path along with Smurphy to becoming a pro. You think O Sullivan is a freak of nature because he's better than Selby and Higgins, ok each to their own, happy new year etc

I dont doubt the ability of Ronnie O'Sullivan and his record, but he has hardly endeared himself to the snooker bodies or a number of people by his constant complaining and derogotary remarks on the professional circuit or particularly recently on Alexandra Palace. Personality wise he is a complete .....ker imo, but ability wise he is one of the gpoats if not more. Shame he blots it with his personality and attention seeking. Selby and Higgins etc may not have the professional abilith of O'Sullivan but they are better personalities imo.
