John was impressive today but you cant help but think "what if" Mark Allen had of won that 5th frame..
"What if" question always makes me mad It always comes to your mind, but there's nothing you can do about it..
Well done, John. Strong win.. Still, a couple of names there to stop him, though. Williams,Ebdon,Robertson and Ding are well capable of lifting the trophy..
All the way Mark J!!

johnno147... excellent standard... Robbo finishes up with a ton for a 5-1 victory!
I just am keeping my fingers crossed for a good draw.
The one that could have a Robertson vs Higgins Final.
The Final I had hoped for because it would be the best lesson of Neil's career so far.
The future World Champion learning from the current World Champion.
Win or lose I would be happy to see that.

That would be a good final. But if they play in SF, I don't think the lesson Neil will get loses its value. Let's see the draw first, maybe Ding will beat Ebdon and Higgins and win the trophy against Robbo
Of all players remaining(6), Ebdon is a fighter, Higgins is an all-rounder, Robertson, Wiiliams and Ding are potters, while I could not find any class for Robert Milkins, but let's say he's reminiscent of Tony Drago

i think the ding ebo match will be quite close but i still will go for ebdon yes ding played fantastically well against off fire maguire but ebdon is such a great fighter and matchplayer snooker player. I can see if it gets slightly slow or tactically based or ding loses a frame or two i think he is still a bit mentally frail and ebdon will exploit this.
