              • I can see nothing but a Maguire - Selby final now.

Nice to see lots of the lesser known players have a good run.

                • I wouldn't count out young McGill, his match v Maguire could go all the way!

Well it is the "same" result kind of when you think about it. The final ended 6-3 which means that Williams won half of the frames (not sure if that is correct english grammar but I hope you understand) as Davis won. 4-2 in the PTC is the same, Williams won half of the frames as Davis won. Because 3 is 50% of 6 which means 6-3 = 2. Now in the PTC match: 2/2 = 1 and 4/2 = 2 if we add the quotients to the result we get: 2+1 and 4+2 which is 6-3 So it is actually the "same" result

                          • It isn't. 4-2 is a two frame gap. 6-3 is a 3 frame gap.

yeah...but the PTC was best of 7 and Reds was best of 11. It's 4 frames difference there. A 3 frame gap in a best of a 11 match is the same as a 2 frame gap in a best of 7 match, that's what I have got but I don't know if it's correct
