Yehm, you might have a point here, nobody seems to have enough of fire to make more than 1 good run these days
(Ding's two finals in row seem quite exceptional! But the same your/cue1 (who needs it more) has just worked on Ding losing to Cope).

Perhaps it helped Ding to lead the one-year rankings coming into this tournament, a lead that is almost sure to slip away after this week..

Speaking of Neil's progress throughout the tournaments, you're right. But I don't think it is a speciality for him, it sounds more like a general tendency for today's top players to me.

I prefer to watch in form John Higgins instead of Judd Trump. I watched a bit of Selby vs Trump match and didn't like it at all.

John was never treated to be a player with flair, which looks a bit unfair, considering Judd is now considered to be one now..

But perhaps it's John preferance to be solid rather than play attractive( I can't say he is not playing attractively, but not as much as he could, considering his talent level ), so, I often tend to watch him against strong opposition

Kind of the same here, I'm not too attracted to watch Higgins breakbuilding, and if this match looks ONLY like this, then.. (my guess is yes - taking a glipse on it gave me impression that Judge is not able to get a more sizeable break).

But I rate Higgins very highly and he is latelly having many cool matches with a good opposition, just like montoya10 said. Dangerous by his extreme reliablilty this Higgins is

Sounds really strange, I mean, John is not opting to play like a one, but in my opinion, he is one of the most naturally gifted players ever and it's sad that he'll never be considered to be one..

Ronnie is the best break builder, Mark J is the best potter, and what is there left for John? Nothing but all-rounder skills, just because he isn't best at any of these departments..
