Yep, you probably have a different box to me, mines the old Sky+ HD one, guessing you probably have Sky Q or one of the more recent ones. It's not a problem, when I started watching snooker everything was low definition and I had a 10 inch b&w TV, but it's just a little jarring when you I switch from sharp to slightly blurry nowadays, so I tend to watch Eurosport for evening sessions, for that reason and so I don't have to keep changing channels every hour of so because the BBC seem to prioritise almost all TV shows over the snooker after 6pm

I have not pressed red button for years after finding out the 981 channel. Also during big events like Olympics and commonwealth games they also have extra channel around 981
      Up the TSF! :snooker:

I do indeed have Sky Q. It's definitely jarring to go to SD after HD! That's why button 981 will only be used in an emergency for me.

I'm definitely a red button fan. Again, during something like the Olympics etc you press the red button (on Sky Q anyway) and you can literally pick which live event you watch. In HD.

as mentioned on Sky you can see 981 as BBC RB1, and during big events you get other channels, 982 etc

            cheers, have fun
