To be honest, it isn't so much the arrows that bother me, more the fact that you couldn't take the shot from the first person view - an oversight that seems to have been addressed for this year's game.

That and sorting out the response/sound of the cushions and the speed of the table.
Ah You want a World Championship snooker game? Did I get this straight: You are preferring to play with some AI players who has names like... like Ronnie O'Sullivan, Steve Davis(...) with poor physhics and gameplay more than playing snooker with real human live opponents with top-of-the-line physhics and gameplay?

Is is just me but I find this quite hilarious lol

And again, who said vp3 is just a pool game?

If you ask me, then my answer is YES

So what? It seems you cannot accept if people choose to NOT play VP3.

Relax man, it just a game ... Probably you right (if that will make you happy), that VP3 has the best physics, the best game play, the most difficult AI, the best control (waggling mouse?), the best bladi-bladi-bla ...

The fact is that not all people find it like that.

                Hello,

Maybe I was a little rude on my last post, forgive me Yes, everybody can play what they like. Its just me, I love playing vp3, just as much as snooker on a real table. Just tried to recommend to y'all WSC-players. Anyways, keep playin. cyas :snooker:

ps. I wish vp3 would have a little waggling mouse so Id have to focus on the cueing action among other things too

Whatever it is, it's very old! These days, there is no excuse for good gfx, official tournaments and good physics!

Agreedthat's why when I first played WSC 07 for the PS3 I was feeling somewhat disappointed by it's graphics as having seen and played other games on the machine I knew that in my mind the PS3 could do much more than that it looked more like an early ish PS2 game The PS3 is a graphics powerhouse compared with it's predecessors and they have only just begun to tap into it's full potential with those Blue Ray discs and stuff fortunately they look like they may be getting the hang of it with Real 08 I can only hope they've made the game run a little smoother so that it's easier to line up the shots as 07 is terrible for that 05 is alright but I find 07 horrible for ilning up shots

They need to make it like a 'Real' (as the name implies) match that you're actually playing in, rather than watching a match on TV but being in control of the players. A full first person mode is essential. As well as this, they have got to get the sounds/response of the cushions right and the speed of the table as well! I mean, how hard can it be for God's sake??

Frm what I have seen and read of the game I thie releasnk they aer making it a bit of both which is just fine for me maybe prior to the PS3 's arrival on the gaming scene they might not have been able to.but the PS3 as I asid is a powerhouse when it comes to gaming I mean I've played FIFA Formula 1 NBA and Tiger Woods on the PS3 and all the ganmes seem to have a pretty realistic feel t them and I think the 07 version so far is the only one to be released on the PS3 and it looks moer like a PS2 game than a PS3 and I think the game was made with the PS2 in mind as the PS2 was in the transition phase of passing over it's crown to the PS3 but I think for the most part that transition is now over and they'll be focusing more on what the PS3 can provide as long as the shots are easier to line up on Real 08 I dubt I'll be complaining too much as it looks like they've straigtened out the graphics

Well I always thought the balls were a ilttle shiny whenever I have watched snoker besides it looks easier at leas to identify which balls aer which becausse at times on WSC 07 I have been caught out a few times when the brown has been amng the reds because they do look a little too similar on there I'm not colour blind or anything and can usually tell but on 07 it has at times been difficult as the graphics haven't been sharp enough

I know it's annoying it's happened several times to me that's why I'm glad they changed the graphics for the nwe one all they need to do is make it easier to line shots up them I might stand a chance of beating some people on the game
