ag 7-1 Nina

Nina and me just played our match for this week. It looked to be a quite tense affair in the beginning. I took a marathon first frame but Nina came back strongly to make it all square at 1-1. The third frame was the beginning of a losing streak for Nina. She lost some very close frames and left me with some good positions to take the frames. Things just didn't seem to fall into place for her. I took the next six to make the final score 7-1. It was a tough match (esp. with all the pressure ). I hope things will fall into place for Nina next time (I say this without knowing who her next opponent is, of course).

Only a short comment from me, I could give excuses but I won't. I wasn't really playing, actually I wanted to concede halfway. That of course doesn't take away anything from a_g's victory, because she did play superbly.

Sorry about that. I did actually show, and said Hi on Yahoo, but then immediately my connection inexplicably went down. By the time it was back up, it must have been about 7 or 8 a.m. for you and you had understandably gone. So either I didn't get your reply on yahoo or my first message didn't even get through. I will give my internet connection a severe slap on the wrist - and promise we'll play those last 2 frames soon.

I just played the final 2 frames of my match against chasmmi, resuming from our 3-3 suspension of 2 nights ago. chasmmi played brilliantly tonight and had Lady Luck on his side, which enabled him to lose both frames by a smaller margin than normal.

A strange one this one. I took a 6-0 lead but Chasmmi had some good cances in most of the frames but I seemed to somehow nick them. Chasmmi then pulled a frame back before again I won a frame I probably shouldn't have.
