    Very surprised with that price especially as the earliest Tom Reece 1903 sold yesterday for £50 on eBay albeit bent, but the badge was the best one I've seen on these cues.

    The 1274 made by B & W was only made for two years and was usually plain Ash into a Macassar butt , so no front splice , top heavy on the price though .

    I assume that magical thing ( for the seller ) happened where 2 or more people really wanted it. That's a lot for that cue.
