What the hell's going on here? Joe "Davies", and a cue that was "professionally spliced", so it was broken in half presumably and that mass in the middle is a bunch of splices holding it together?

very odd - why not just make a longer butt?

Seen it done that way on a few cues, just looks weird and makes the joint look like it's in a strange position. Suppose its easier than adding splices but surely it would be easy to cut the butt and add it in at an appropriate place instead of modding the shaft.

Never understood why some cuemakers lengthen in this way, surely it would be less noticeable adding in an ebony dowel on the bottom section of the butt?

That cue is in shocking condition, it would only take 10 minutes to having it look real nice

That easily 6 times it's listed, he has offer enabled but doesn't seem to take them. Must need to be within £2.50 of his BIN price to get accepted.

And yet again the maple paragon returns, lost track of how many times he's listed this, he had it on for £500 before and wouldn't take an offer of £450 for it. Despite the fact it looks to need quite a scrubbing.

Nice he listed it as a replica, though i'm not if sure the mass of glue covering the badge would have been a hint had he said it was legit.
