Why should you give someone £280 for it? Well because you asked for a 3/4 cue and the guy offered to sell it to you for a fair price. As for the wilshaw at the price offered you'd almost be stealing it! Jason f**ked up but still not all of his cues are thai cues, he still makes good handmade cues also. You've been offered 2 high quality cues at good prices, and your calling the people trying to help you idiots! Good luck getting help on the forum again

For me, just me.... If I wanted something, and the price that seller offer is too high for me or I think it is not worth, I will just say " thanks for the offer, price is kinda high for my budget, I will consider about it", that's all, seller and buyer can close the deal when price is right and things is right, that's all needs. Take it or leave it no need to argue or make things unhappy. If it is over priced, just don't buy it, nobody can force u, is your own money. Cheers.

        you're confused ??? That makes 2 of us .

£275 for a Wilshaw cue & case plus shipping to Denmark..........he should have chewed his arm off to the elbow !!!

        Cracking deal .

Begs the question........why not just order the JP cue from Parris and get it sent to Denmark

Rather than abusing members' who are only trying to help .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I have had some interactions with people and I do not know much about cue making but I do have a decent IQ so I do not get fooled easily.
But I cannot wait any longer and must have a cue now.

My budget is 200-800£ (including a simple cue craft case and extensions).
I only play once in a while as a hobby so the cheaper the better but I can pay if its worth it.
The trouble is I have no way of telling what a cue should cost. All I know is that when I hold a great cue in my hand or play a few shots I can tell for sure what is a great cue and what is crap.
Sorry Neil, The op doesn't want to wait.

          I'm confused though,

Wants a great cue, but offered a red glue Parris, declines as it's price is too near to new ( but in many opinions, inferior ) cue price.

Only reason I started doubting that was this forum with so much negativity against Parris .. probably because people are jealous.

besides I am not complaining about his price but his behavior. Its his cue and he can ask for a 1000£ if he wants but he had no business behaving the way he did.
280 is a very fair price for a jp classic - i sell them at around that figure all the time, buying one cheaper would be your gamble!

Can the chap wanting the cue not organise courier collection and agree a price for the cue?

I have a Parris Classic i'm still considering selling. It's had a couple of offers up to £220 so far, but i'm unsure how much it would cost to send insured to Denmark.

£30-£40 to send it - insured would be stupidly expensive

if someone selling a jp classic at £50, I think he will not buy it as well...... LOL

People offering, take it or leave it, that's all, no need to abuse members here.

winning bid 235£ by yours truly and you guys claimed 280£ to be fair. I know now you will say that there must be something wrong with it etc. but I proved it 280£ for a red glue JP was 50£ too much. The seller has not responded to me yet though.

umm too short and too heavy and not a classic but the ambassador which is jointed too high up and nobody likes them, might need to be refinished, you don't have the delivery cost yet and seller has mixed feedback - i would have spent the extra £45 !!!

                          JP champion cue

I bid 206£ and I am the highest bidder. Yet again this forum is all about wanna be snooker gururs trying to make 50-100£ by scratching eachothers' back.

For me it is a stranger I have to trust and there is no reason a stranger from this forum is more reliable than one on ebay. Experience suggests quite the opposite I am afraid. Go ahead, whip me now!

I would have if I knew the same was not true for the 280£. the seller may have mixed response but he has not misbehaved like the 280£ yet. The rest is all theories. Buying from someone from here is no guarantee that he will sell me a good cue! I repeat I can even give much more if I could trust someone but my observation thus far tells me a different story
