Back to playing with an Osborne. Did not like the northwest cue. Got one made very similar to the one i sold you. glad you have stuck to this one. speak soon m8.
i use a riley's paul hunter limited edition cue. Only 1000 made and they have unique serial numbers on the joint, signed, as well as a comemerative mini plaque on the butt.
2-piece 3/4 jointed with 12" extender
57"
9.5mm tip
i dunno the weight exactly but its about 17oz

John Parris Special (bought second-hand)
57.5"
9.5mm tip
17.75oz now (was originally around 19.5oz)
Ebony butt, 4 splices of dark rosewood with light and dark blue pearlescent veneers and a facing splice of ebony
16" joint (which is also now the balance point)
Ash shaft. It has a very tight grain - I've read somewhere that if it's too close together it means that the wood is more "whippy", but I've not found that to be the case at all. I just love those 16 perfectly aligned and evenly-spaced arrows pointing up the shaft
very true - but i heard ronnie once fitted a new tip, played a frame, made a 147 and bit the tip off because he felt he was hitting too many jaws.............
I am in the process of thinking about getting another cue, just for confidence boosting purposes, I currently have a Burwat Champion about 18 years old, it cost a nice few quid back then, but was thinking about buying another cue just for a change really, I have found this link : http://www.cuewizard.com/Wizard.html
Has anyone use them, and if so are they any good and are the cues any cop

its peradons top of the range cues - i have agreed to do a 20% discount on these for TSF members - the cues are pretty decent quality and a very fair price.

hi, there was a competion in snooker scene a few years ago and i won a one piece cue custom made by peradon's cue wizard, very good cue but expensive in comparision to what i thought were better made cues i.e. crafstman, northwest cues for instance retail at up to £200 cheaper than the similer model/spec they knock out also the s.d. joint was very poorly fitted.
