maybe bad luck - i can't say i have used the cue wizard all that often but the cues i have seen were good.

                • ooookay... I have a Riley Paul Hunter 200. it's an okay cue as long as you don't mind the varnishing. but as I use darter rosin (for my sweaty hands) anyway it's no problem for me and after a few plays it works really well (okay... lost two matches yesterday, but that was not because of the cue...)

as soon as I got some money saved I will try another one. I wanted a Mastercue cue, but as there's no way to try them out here in Switzerland, it's not really an option. I prefer to test it before buying.

                  • i have a Glover custom made cue

                    ash wood
                    1 piece
                    17.7oz
                    57.5"
                    9.5mm tip
4-piece snakewood flashes with red veneers

the wood that glover uses is just so solid! can hear that really clicky cracky sound when striking the cue ball..... very very solid feel

                        • 3/4 ebony / maple shaft
                          58.25"
                          19.5 oz.
                          tip 9.7mm
                          butt 29.5mm and 18.5"
                          balance point 17"

It rocks! (This is not a tippy tap tack hammer)

                                Hi chaps.
I have a Mac Chambers cue bought from a guy (say's he was a profesional but he narrowly beat me 3-2 and i'm rubbish) at Prestatyn in the mid 90's.
The cue joint came loose after a few frames at Prestatyn and the guy refused to give me a refund.I dropped in on Mac on the way home and he offered to repair it free of charge.Result.
