the writing on the badge looks thicker and not as clean and crisp as the ambassador i am looking at as i write this, but it could just be the photos

It's the font I notice looks odd compared to the ones I have.

Plus that design is common on the imported dunn cues I have seen ?

Its also set too high up the cue, I would have a few quid that this cue is a Dunns cue with a dodgy JP badge. I already feel sorry for the poor sod who wins it with a bid of £200 plus!!

I've never see a Parris cue but even I can tell it's a fake you only have to look at the thead on the mini butt.

I've reported it anyways if its still there near the auction end i'll bid £30000 that should stop the scumbag.

it looks fake to me apart from the badge being to far from the end of the butt the sd joint in the end of the butt doesnt look like a parris and the threaded part on the mini butt doesnt look as long as a parris one either.

I asked seller for paperwork on purchase, can't find it ?
                  Purchased it new from Parris
However parris reduced it in length 6 weeks ago

new photo's added and I am still unsure the glue on splices looks over the top ?

Does Parris use the same glue on the inlays?? don't look good

                      cue ?

I have a john parris ultimate badge off one of my old cues !
if i listed it on ebay "badge only" i would be sure to see a cue pop up on ebay in the future with the same badge listed as genuine !!!!!
sad really, but this is the case nowadays.

Not sure if anyone's emailed the listing to John Parris yet but he would gladly confirm yes or no as i know fakes really get on his nerves...all i would add is the badge looks nothing like the parris cues i own, the glue on the splices looks nothing like the usual parris cues, and the mini butt which is included isn't a parris one either i can tell by the thread on the joint.
So not really much in favour of it at the minute apart from the seller saying if you can prove its fake he will refund you...i wouldn't buy it though!!

i emailed him and told him that this is a dunns cue with a dodgy parris badge, and this was his reply ........
Absolute rubbish. If you are so convinced this is not a genuine Parris Cue call Parris cues on 0208 291 6288. Ask them if they carried out work - Ref Simon Moulton (me) early June with regards to the replacement of a faulty window disc on a Limited Edition 7 Cue with 'Checked Inlay' They know me. Please do not insult my authenticity with regards to this Parris Cues - I have been playing snooker for 20 years and owned THREE genuine Parris Cues ,,,,,,,,,,

so we need one of the cuemakers on here who have had dealings with john parris to have a word to confirm or deny this if poss ,,mike, trev, paul, keith ?????????

Maybe Parris has changed his badge font then?
Seller said it was 4 month old. but has no paperwork for it new or repair.

The quality of the cue from the pictures don't look great to be honest.
However hard to tell unless you see it in the flesh I guess.

ADR has a good eye for a fake.

What an arsehole! I've got 10 Bentleys and 8 Rolls Royces 3 private Jets 2 helicopters and I ride a Raleigh Chopper to sign on every week

All he's said proves naff all. He could and I reckon still is trying to sell a fake.

Anyone got a Parris Mini butt and a camera handy? I swear that thead is totally different.
