Misses has told me to go for it (good girl).

As I have worked at a snooker club for the last 10 years, my love for the game has dwindled. You would think it was an ideal job for a snooker player.
hi tbones147 if i can help in any way just ask .

You have a great shed there. Is it a 10' table? I wish I had the place where I could put a table. Have fun there!:snooker:

You may need planning permission for a shed that size. But saying that, my garage is brick, with 2inch cavity brickwork, 26 feet x 11 feet.

18 feet is for the car and some of my planes, the other is a building room for planes, with some heating. Just finished the woodwork on a new plane, now waiting to get some covering for it.

Would a conservatory work as a snooker room? Can you get them 22' x 16'?

probably not, temperature of a conservatory varies considerably from freezing to sweat box in the summer, probably won't do the table any good. And you can get conservatories however big you want provided the garden is there and the planning permission goes through (if is needed)

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but that shed is fantastic Mick!

So did you need planning permission for that? My garden is absolutely huge so could do the same

How much did it all set you back if you don't mind me asking?

Better resurrecting an old one than starting a new one on the same subject so don't apologise.

It does look great. I wondered if there is, or ever has been, a thread of pictures of snooker rooms. I think most of us could get ideas from seeing pictures of what others have done. Also maybe admit to any mistakes they have made so others can avoid them. The sort of "I wish before I had done that I had thought to.........." type comment.
