I took a tape measure with me again today and played on a table I have never played on before, so a totally random choice, I measured across the pocket right on a tangent with the arc of the pocket (I hope this is the fall) 3.5 inches, bang on, and that's just a bog standard club table,if it were my table there is absolutely no way would I take the corner pockets up to four inches, for one I think you would be ruining a perfectly good table, and two nothing you scored on it could be taken seriously, four inches would be huge, I think it would look silly. If the pockets over there in the clubs are four inches they are in my opinion just kidding themselves on(if I have measured the wrong bit I take it all back lol)This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Also don't like to drag people down, but Longbombers "century" cannot be taken seriously on his oversized pool table

Honestly, JRC and J6, you lads are far better than me and especially J6, you have traveled up and down going to comps, have either of you played on any table who's pockets come close to four inches? This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

That pic you showed a while back Les looked totally fine to me, and that middle bag of Terry's was like a bargain bucket

ive played on tight tables in comps won 3-0 with breaks over 50 in every frame and ive played on buckets in say the league and struggled with lesser players. i don't even know what the pocket sizes are on a pro table, what is it?
regarding les, he just seems to but dejected, trowing balls against the wall and, not know were he really is technically. he simply needs a proper coach to kick him in the pants

Hey guys I played my match today and won. No big breaks but a lot of 4 ball breaks which is much better for me. I made some great shots to the side pockets that would not have been makable on mine and I missed some black balls to the corner which should be easy on those tables but because mine are so tight I have not developed a fluid stroke and seem to jab at them instead of driving right through the cue ball.
