I logged-in today to see what the situation was, a short while ago it was giving me errors each time I tried to post, I think that affected many users.
Edit: I see the error is still in place, eeek. It's a total mess, pretty much un-surfable, hope admins can do something otherwise it's gonna be dead and buried.

Agreed, this all needs to be fixed, properly... it's been going on far too long now. Not only that error message thingy when posting something but also the faulty post update in the forums overview and stuff. It's really off-putting.

Off-topic: motorhead and I joined at a very similar point in time, share a very similar post count and like very similar cartoon characters (I never can decide which I like best, Bender or Roger, Roger or Bender). So we're practically twin brothers, I guess.

Please don't bail on us CC! We need every member we can get right now, especially insightful intelligent witty members such as yourself.
It is bleak atm but I'm hoping that the current owners will sell the place to someone who gives a toss and the more members we still have the more likely that would be. OK, it's the deciding frame, we need 7 snookers, but we've gotta keep plugging away, we're not out of the game yet!

This is a really important tournament for many players, who still have the slim hope of entering the Players Championship.
Mark Allen, Stephen Maguire will probably need to win the title here to still make it (theoretically right now if everything falls into the place, the final would be enough, but I guess not in the end, as other players will make points as well), Mark Williams needs the final, Murphy and Yan good results as well.

Plenty of interesting matches now.

Murphy leads Day 2:1 - and it's good to see Eurosport is showing this match and for once not the Trump match, though the world number one has an interesting duel with Vafaei right now himself.
Zhou plays Gilbert (2-1 currently), Lisowski Walden (2-0).

The snooker Gods might be smiling on Vafaei, he just had the most outrageous fluke, went for long blue in green pocked, ended up going in the yellow middle pocked at some pace. Nice 2 - 2 now.

Murphy is through and therefore now is among the top 16 of the one-year-list at place 15. But with Yan, Ford and some others still in the tournament and in the hunt he is far from safe for the Players Championship.
Jamie Jones is now OUT of the Players Championship.
