Me too. Go Vinnie! Still, I would like Dale to win too.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
      I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

That report by odri is A1

The lads from Newcastle Gary Wilson and John Astley and Elliot Selesor seem to be doing ok this season - North East snooker looking up - Be nice to see one or more of them qualify - nice to watch actually.

I like an underdog - and would like Williams to do well but Neil Robertson or Mark Allen winning this one for me.

i fancy williams this week, although it is hard to overlook ronnie, even when hes not in top form he is hard to beat, unless he beats himself!

on a similar note, there was an interesting conversation on twitter between williams and bingham, basically saying ronnie is unbeatable, which i found interesting, he does obviously have that intimidation factor still

I think Ronnie has to be favourite and he has some added incentives... another title and he could do with the money.

I think you may be right, he has far too much talent for people to be written off, still one of the best players there is even if he is in a bit of a slump

It all depends on who he meets through the rounds. He probably on form him, Ding and Robinson are the favourites, but of he met someone like Selby or Ebdon, they could scupper his game.

I think he has a bit of trouble early on with some of the new establishment, but if he gets to the semis I'd fancy him, no matter who's there.

If you do then 5/1 could be a great price . Get on .

Finally one of the seeded player got over the line. Xiao Guodong made a great finish. And what a fine result for Gary Wilson.

Ronnie at 7/2 is a good price yes he won ugly but won a tourney not playing well (his words) think he'll win the uk to and at 7/2 got to be worth a pun.
