So Greene vs Hawkins in the final. I really can't see Hawkins losing this.

And there are other ways. I think a total of 128 are on the tour one way or another.

Hawkins has come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years. He's really solid now. No doubt helped a lot by Terry Griffiths. Greene is going to have to score very heavy in frames to stop him.

I feel it's going to be strongly contested by both players. I just hope that Greene doesn't choke and manages to knock in some of those fantastic long pots he's managed this week and score well from them.

Ironic really... a player who scrapped into this week thanks to Bingham goes on to win it! Gerrard Green had some good wins against very good all round players so fair play to him, maybe didn't deserve a whitewash... but on the flip side i didn't see him play one visit snooker in the matches i seen...Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

Maybe they should try something different for this final, but without actually messing with the game itself. How about they play for a fixed amount of time, say 3 hours, then divide the prize money up by the percentage of points scored, so Player A gets 70% of the total points scored and 70% of the winnings, as well as the title of course. At least then the audience know they're going to get an evenings snooker for their money, which must be good, revenue wise. You could have a big swingometer showing which player was in the lead, and.....
Well, all right, maybe a bit mad that one. But c'mon BH, give us something to get our teeth into, just for the final, please.

The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
