This was a big frame, the first one where both players wasted a bunch of chances, so it was always going to be hard to take for the player who lost it. I wouldn't be surprised if Maguire won the match with a big break now.

Doesn't seem in the cards now...Marco just gave the frame away there in the end, what a shame.

I really want to see Fu come through in this match...don't care much for Maguire's temperament nor his temper tantrums. I also feel Fu has a better chance against Trump tomorrow.

This will annoy Maguire, and it could be a similar turning point as that 6th frame in the Dott-Bingham match.
Maguire is an interesting player... he looks very strong when he gets long, uninterrupted scoring visits, but whenever there is a bit of safety played in between he often needs some time to get going again.

Great job Fu taking this frame as well...only 1 frame behind now...it's getting closer!

What was that about Maguire not wanting to be a fat World Champion?

Eurosport2 will pick up the snooker right now, as the bundesliga football has just finished. Oh the relief...snooker *with* talk again

I rarely get to hear the BBC guys these days, as I watch most of my snooker either on Eurosport on TV, or on Eurosport player.
I am quite relieved whenever it's Hendon and Johnson, but the combination of Studd and Hallett can be a nightmare to listen to.

Well if Marco pinches this frame, Maguire will be extremely agitated. That can mean he will come out all guns blazing, or beating himself up about it. Hoping for the latter...cause I want a close match...it's been too long
