I suppose the rest of you also thought it was ok when he gave up on the Hendry game halfway through.
Barry Hearn has a massive task on his hands and he needs his star attractions to get more improved in the promotion of the sport, and maybe be a little happier when they win
I'm not going to watch Selby-Maguire tonight. I don't want to break this picture of supremacy in my mind for at least a night
This match has drained all energy away from my body, wow, but I still love it
My feelings exactly. I'm exhausted. Watched the second part of the decider, after Ronnie's great two reds with his blue , on mute and peering through my fingers.
Whoa! Phew!
Awesome match, amazing standard, welcome back, Mark, hot fist pump in the decider, Ronnie, hic (good beer, this one ) and...yes!
And thank you, gentlemen! Made more than a match out of it, made it a classic.
So great to see them chatting on their way out!
To tell you the truth I find it incredibly embarrassing and sad [as a snooker fan for longer than most people here have been alive ],
that some people, just out of some twisted sense of selfish entitlement, criticize the only "golden goose" in our sport for not being shiny and polished enough after he delivers to us one of the most astonishing series of matches in recent memory.
WTF!
=o(
Noel
Nah nothing to worry about really.
Alexia came here to speak of exactly him and not someone else!
So without realising it he is just making the goose even more golden and nothing else
Co-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.
Alexia I hope Ronnie stuffs all the crap back down your throat tomorrow right in front of your eyes. COME ON RONNIE!!
Yes I am looking forward to the post match interview already.
" Yeah well um I played crap and maybe I'll retire soon if I keep playing that bad, snooker bores the hell out of me really. "
but the fans spurred you on Ronnie? You know, those people that pay to see you play?
"umm err hmm no not really- I'm not bothered either way, i suppose the winnings will help pay my tax bill"
I will be there tomorrow, and I can accept that at times he will entertain me with the way he plays- but I will be cheering for his opponent tomorrow- whoever that might be.......
