Round 317 ... what about 199 bananas?
Round 318 ... 164 strawberries?
A very good bid from Monique.
It is possible, however, for Gordon to get more fruit - but I won't yet say whether more bananas, strawberries, or both!
Any other bids?

That's a lot of fruit for Gordon, snookersfun! So, what balls does he pot there?

for 232 points, which are 234 now
starting with a free ball
potting that and e.g. 14 reds with yellows: 3x15 points
foul shot now- potting all colours instead of last read: 3x6 points
Shirty's shot leaves another free ball
potting free ball and red with yellows: 2x3 points
disaster on colours again: 3x6 points
added to 147 starting bananas (why in the world):234 points
now for the 190 points, which are back to 188 for now:
pretty much like above really
or the 190 where:
starting with free ball with yellow= 1 point
pot all on table now = 21x2 points
and concedes after Shirty's next shot (as food is much more important)
foul shot now- potting all colours instead of last read: 3x6 points
Eh? That's not a pot. A pot must be a legal shot - knocking all the colours in in one shot is not a pot!
So we are back to Monique with the leading bids...
Edit: to clarify, the rules of snooker state that "a pot is when an object ball, after contact with another ball and without any infringement of these Rules, enters a pocket." So fouling and causing balls to enter a pocket is pocketing them, not potting.

dear, dear...
rather keep those bananas at 199
but do have that one more strawberry
at least now it all makes sense
Congratulations Monique and snookersfun! 199 bananas and 165 strawberries it is! This is how Gordon manages it:
Shirty breaks off and leaves a free ball, leaving 16 'reds'. Gordon pots 'red' and then yellow, 16 times.
Each 'red' gains Gordon 2 bananas (well, 3 go into the sack but Shirty eats one) and 1 strawberry (2 strawberries into the sack before Shirty eats one).
Each yellow gains Gordon 1 banana (3 go into the sack but Shirty eats two) and no strawberries (Shirty puts in 2 strawberries but eats them both).
So, by now, the sack contains 147 + 16 x (2+1) = 195 bananas and 147 + 16 x 1 = 163 strawberries.
Then, Gordon plays safe (or misses a pot - probably he snookers Shirty) and Shirty fouls, leaving a free ball again on the yellow. Clever Gordon nominates a free ball and knocks in the free ball together with the yellow in one shot.
That means 2 balls potted in one shot and 2 points scored - this gives another 3x2-2 = 4 bananas (total 199) and 2x2-2 = 2 strawberries (total 165).
PS If Gordon gets both free balls on the reds, so potting 17 'reds' and yellows, he still gets 199 bananas but only manages 164 strawberries. Monique, was this your way?

yes, it was ... I did not get the idea of the free ball+yellow potted together. Actually I thought this would have been a foul .. need to re-read the rules!
...and who would have thought?
Just found news from Monique that she solved those Pentaminos (can't be bothered to check which round it was now). Do not have the hard proof yet (so everybody still has about a week's time to solve them as well), but meanwhile: Very well done!!!
