Well two things here ,I’ve only been on here about a year ,not a decade ,and also I don’t dislike Mark Selby .spoke to him last year and a nicer bloke you could not meet .My point being is when he plays fluently with confidence he looks like the player he was when he won his World titles ,he also played like that recently when he won .Anyone that plays this fiendishly difficult game knows that being negative can really screw you up and it’s hard to get out of a rut .Maybe Selby should have Beaten Osullivan at the Worlds if he had played with a bit more confidence in the latter stages ,but we’ll never know .We all have our own opinions ,and we all talk bollox sometimes ,so no disrespect intended

Nothing more than the way he plays the game ,players like O’Sullivan ,White ,Alex Higgins are great to watch .Cliff Wilson years ago was pretty good to watch too .

personally i don't think there's anything exciting about the way he plays , not sure he would have got to no.1 and world champ if he played in any way other than 100% conducive to winning matches , if there was say in my case 8 streams to watch and he was in one the one he was in would very much be on the backburner , but i'm more interested in lower ranked players anyway so i'm probably hardly a good average example .

There is no denying Judd Trump is exiting to watch because he's quick and a solid break builder. He used to make bad decisions with shot selection but has concentrated on that and become a better and more mature player so has to be praised for that.

Helluva scalp for Pang Junxu, sends Mags packing (despite the most outrageous plant from him). Fair dues to him, went for his shots in the decider, few tricky ones as well.

what a performance from pang junxu , he's only in his first year as well , he wasn't lacking in anything in that match at all , you wouldn't know who the 20 year veteran was , vs lu ning next for a place in the quarters , also c'mon zhou tomorrow and xiao on thursday !!

Fair do mate ,would like to see Jack Lasowski do well and really come through ,he seems to have all the shots but not quite the game .

haha he's someone i'm not that keen on as he's had exclusive access to the grove in romford for about the last decade , saw some of his match today though , good potter and he's good on the eye too thats probably why he's there , personally i don't think there's that much wrong with his game or most other younger players its just that its all a bit bottlenecked , i mean look at the round 4 line up , trump's the favourite but its pretty loaded , just as long as players don't miss easy pots it all should be reasonably close .
