Higgins on course for the 147 right now but how on earth can it be done while releasing the gold from the cushion ? :P

Crafty! I've heard a lot of people rate Riley Aristocrats as the 'gold standard' over Star/Rasmussen/even BCE?. But are you referring to vintage/old ones, in the Accrington heyday, or the ones currently being manufactured and sold? (or both?) Thanks!
The crunch point is they (Rasson/star - Star especially) are expensive tables to Joe public, however to WST with their contract they are a more viable regular solution over the Riley Aristocrat from a cost perspective. ( This is the only reason Riley were dropped ).
So the bottom line is that if you are building your own snooker room were a table will sit for many years buy an older Aristocrat as they have the Welsh slate which was the best and it will last and stay true for decades if maintained properly.Last edited by Cue crafty; 5 March 2024, 04:39 PM.βͺ π΄π‘π’π€π΅πβ«π³οΈπ

Jesus, that was an insanely tense decider between Allen and Selby. The sort that won't 'work' on a highlights reel, because it was all about real-time mistakes, tension, flukes, and then a bizarre conundrum of pink and black over pocket.

That match was absolute carnage, not often I feel sorry for Selby.βͺ π΄π‘π’π€π΅πβ«π³οΈπ
