When Ronnie plays a session like today's, tactical game won't be useful. The only way to win is playing your own game and hoping you can outperform Ronnie which MJW couldn't quite achieve despite a strong performance..

So, I personally think Selby is going to have his name in history only in the part where players Ronnie beat en route to the final are mentioned

Am I getting wrong, or are we just clashing each other in every single match??

Ding v Murphy? Ronnie v Selby?

Carter v Perry, too. I like Ali, but wanted Joe to win so that he could maintain his Top 16 spot, really unfortunate situation..

To add as a note: Let this luck matter go. Luck is needed in this life. Otherwise you could pull out a fabulous long pot and end up going in-off.. That will be unlucky. If you get a nice touch from the colours, it will be lucky. So, it doesn't matter. What matters really is the result, everything else will be paid back to the other player by the table and the run of balls sooner or later

We do seem to be clashing an awful lot You need to change your ways!!! You can't beat the cheering squad

Ronnie probably won't play the same as he did today, and Mark was supurb in this morning's session so...

No way I change my attitude. You're going to change yours, or you'll pay for it, mate

In 2008, it could have been said again, after beating Mark J with a 147, but he played even better in the upcoming matches, especially against Hendry and Carter..

The only way to win this one for Selby is hoping for a sloppy start from Ronnie and build a first session lead. Otherwise, it can be too late for him.

                            • Next Poll: How many world titles will Ding Junhui win?

Considering the 1992 generation, Ronnie, John and Mark J, are getting closer to the end of their careers, I'm going with 4, he is too good for the other players, and he is going to improve his match play too

Just as I type, next The Man To Beat in my eyes fires a 137

4 is a little ambitious...i think he could very likely win 2.
