New cue arrived today and managed to get 2 hours play with it. Very happy with it, the quality of craftsmanship is fantastic.

I have a buffing wheel on a bench grinder and compound but stainless in the raw state takes some work to get a mirror finish. Unlike brass which is soft in comparison.
Stainless is a pain to work with in this one set i used 6 drill bits

Very nice Les. Did he use a stainless steel rivit / stud for the straps on the case top ?

When you say it's hard to polish, have you got a wheel and polishing compound, or just hand polish ?

My case to go with my new cue. Made by Graham Hardy (snooker warrior) he has done a great job! Done in full grain leather, i have fitted 3mm Polished stainless ends and all stainless hinges and cheny catches. I wont be doing any more Stainless ends as they are a absolute pain in the orifice to bend shape and polish! such a hard steel. Look good though and should never tarnish

More or less veneers on it to resemble ash grain, maple shaft walnut inlays to look like grain points.

Wonder if they would make a cue to commemorate snooker being in the Olympics?
