Has anyone noticed if you hold down the LT button, and move the right analogue stick up, it does a Tiger Woods style power shot. I never realised it did this.
Surely if this was implemented as the first choice for making shots, then this would make the game slightly harder, thus more enjoyable?Comment

I love WSC 2005.
Can you tell me where it all went wrong after that? You'd absolutely nailed it. Now, there's very little right. How could you take a step backwards, when the reviews for 2005 were very good, and there was very little that the gamers could complain about? You even had the backing of Sega, who would have pushed it EVERYWHERE if people were responding to it's quality.
I mean, they pushed Samba (that frigging maraca game) and that was terrible, as well as many other poor titles that were not a patch non what you guys had produced.
Surely the amount of pages on this thread must give you some indication that 'something' has gone wrong.Comment

Can I just ask why Judd Trump is not on the game? I kind of get the reasons why Jimmy White wasn't on the previous games, but just a bit curious as to why this was. I bet him getting to the final was a real kick in the teeth for you guys!?!Comment

Yep admittedly the transition to this generation and the massive cost and technology hurdles didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked. We're working damn hard to get back to that level and we really believe WSC Real 11 is a big step in the right direction. We know we need to make more steps but we're back on track now and heading in the right direction

In all honesty we didn't have the time and resources available to model some new players, we felt it was more important to spend those resources on the gameplay improvements, controls, physics, save structure, online improvements etc.Comment

Much as I can see the good that DE have done, I just wish they had some competition, to make them raise the bar. It's easy to be 'the best' if there's no one else working on a rival game.
You can bet your life is EA was making a snooker/pool sim, they'd be working ALOT harder to meet our needs.Comment
